The system supports students going abroad by ensuring credit transfer prior to exchanges on the basis of successful completion of the requirements of each course unit. Credit transfer system in each country/territory may differ from one another and it makes difficult to convert, directly. The UCTS credit points system and grading scale are not intended to replace the scales used by host and home institution, but are used solely for the purpose of conversion. Hence it is clear and easy to count how many credits you can obtain per course/subject.
